Veterans Day
Veterans day is a time to respect those who fought in the war. Veterans day is about celebrating those who fought in the war. Veterans day was once called Armistice Day however in 1954 it was officially renamed Veterans Day. Veterans Day marks the anniversary of the end of world war I. Veterans day is a federal holiday so most schools have the day off on November 11 but when it's on a Saturday schools get November 10th off instead. Veterans day is a time of remembrance for all of the veterans who died in the war (and the ones that survived).
